Step 1: Complete your first photo shoot and create your comp card

She registers with NTM Studios and books her first photo shoot

Your profile photos are photos required in this industry and the comp card is essentially your resume that you use to apply for work. You’ll work with our professional photographers to develop a style to meet your needs, whether it be fashion, runway, print work, commercial, etc. Come into our studio to book your photo shoot or do it online on our sign up page. You may also wish to consider our membership which has many benefits including major cost savings on studio and photography fees.

Step 2: Refine your modeling skills through our various initiatives and competitions

Anna then builds her portfolio

A good model knows what his/her strengths are and how to apply them in different environments. We have many exciting and fun options for gaining further experience including our modeling competitions, sponsored commercial shoots, and creative photo shoots. Modeling competitions are free for members with monetary prizes and exposure to our sponsors. Sponsored commercial shoots are subsidized creative photo shoots where the sponsor may elect to use your photos. You may also wish to consider hiring our photographers for a personal creative photo session.

Step 3: Apply for work

Anna books her first job

As you climb the ladder your portfolio will continue to grow and mature. Finally you are ready to look for work! There are 3 options for you to consider:

1. Continue to participate in our sponsored commercial shoots or competitions,
2. Contact a reputable agency for representation,
3. Independently look for work.
